Took an actual vacation day to go watch the Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing event. They basically had a closed street course for hot lap sessions. It was a pretty good day. There are 3 more days of other events, but this was the only day of street racing. Because racecar!

back in the mid 90s (yeah i’m old) i went to Steamboat to watch a friend race motorcycles on the streets up by the ski area base.
